About Laser Skin Tightening
Patients tolerate the non-invasive procedure very well. Those with more sensitive skin may use a topical anesthetic, applied 30 minutes before the procedure.  Before treatment, a cold gel is applied to the area treated, and you may be given dark glasses to protect your eyes from the bright light. During the treatment, you will hear a beep each time the machine is used.  Afterwards, for a few minutes or hours, the skin may be flushed and appear irritated. These initial effects usually fade within hours, but can occasionally last for a few days.

Sign the procedure consent form.

As the esthetician begins preparation for treatment, your face will be cleansed and an anesthetizing cream will be applied to your face. You will wait 25 minutes for the cream to take effect – your face will feel a similar numbness like Novocain from the dentist.

After Laser Wrinkle Correction:

Your face will be tingling from the effects of the treatment and the cream for about one hour

There should be minimal redness or tenderness; ice may be applied if you wish

You may go back to your normal daily activities immediately.

It is not recommended to apply makeup or skin care products the remainder of the day
